Job summary

Cross Border Talents in Porto, Portugal, is seeking an Accounts Receivable specialist with a Finance/Accounting background to support Order-to-Cash operations. The role requires fluency in French and advanced English, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems.

You will process orders, generate invoices, apply cash, and help with month-end closing. The position is on site with standard Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in Accounts Receivable, O2C, or Finance operations.
• Knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables).
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is a plus.
• Native-level or fluent French (spoken and written).
• Advanced English proficiency (C1).
• Customer service orientation.
• Detail-oriented with multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Generate invoices and credit notes ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Perform daily cash application of customer payments.
• Monitor AR aging reports and follow up with customers for overdue invoices.
• Support resolution of simple customer queries and elevate complex disputes.
• Assist in reconciliations, month-end & quarter-end closing, and audit requirements.
• Maintain updated customer master data in ERP.
