FedEx is seeking a Clearance Broker to join our Customs Clearance team. You will review shipment data to determine exact customer and regulatory requirements, prepare accurate clearance declarations, and liaise with customers and authorities to resolve issues.

The role emphasizes timely processing, strong customer focus, and effective relationship-building to recommend the best clearance services. Ideal candidates bring attention to detail, communication skills, and experience with import/export

Qualificações

• Experience or working knowledge of Import/Export processes and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with clearance related principles and CHIEF entries is desirable.
• Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to make sound numerical decisions under time pressure.
• Good Microsoft Office and PC skills.

Responsabilidades

• Review shipments data to understand customer and regulatory requirements and check documentation for accuracy.
• Use in-house systems to create accurate and compliant clearance declarations.
• Contact customers or government agencies to clarify information when needed.
• Resolve routine customer and customs disputes.
• Build effective relationships with customers and help them choose best clearance services.
• Work within tight time frames in a busy office environment.
