Elementis PLC is seeking a Business Data Manager in Porto to lead the Analytics team, delivering high-quality dashboards, reports, and data visualisations that drive rapid, confident decision-making. You will translate functional priorities into analytical requirements, manage demand and governance, and partner with data architecture, governance, and technical teams to ensure trusted data foundations.

Qualificações

• Leadership & team development experience in analytics
• Ability to translate business needs into analytical requirements
• Strong communication of insights to senior leaders
• Experience delivering dashboards and reports that support decision-making
• Knowledge of data governance, master data management, and data quality principles
• Ability to evaluate and adopt new BI tools and visualization techniques
• Fluency in English; collaborative, cross-functional working style

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Analyst Team & manage workflow to ensure high-quality, business-relevant analytics
• Allocate work based on priorities; balance BAU reporting with strategic initiatives
• Promote best practices in analysis, dashboards, and stakeholder engagement
• Embed Analysts in supported business units and balance data team activities with business needs
• Act as primary contact for functions; translate priorities into analytical requirements
• Communicate insights clearly to senior leaders; support data literacy training
• Prioritize new reporting requests; align with enterprise standards and priorities
• Represent the analytics team in data leadership forums; minimise overlaps
• Translate requirements into data and dashboard specs for Data Architecture/Tech teams
• Extend dashboards using Data Lake data; ensure accuracy, usability, and alignment
• Test and train users; ensure releases post-testing; improve BI performance and reliability
• Collaborate with Data Architecture, Governance, and Technical Teams to resolve data quality issues
• Continuously improve BI tools, processes, and capabilities; foster data-driven decision making
• Stay updated on industry trends to refine data capabilities across the organization
