Elementis PLC in Porto is seeking a Data Architecture and Governance Manager to drive enterprise data modelling, governance, and MDM. You will translate business needs into architectural direction, enforce standards, and ensure scalable, compliant data solutions.

You will shape the data lake and analytical layers, guide data managers and engineers, and collaborate with external vendors to uphold GDPR and responsible data use.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, data management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data governance, data architecture, or a hybrid role.
• Experience designing and maintaining enterprise data models or governance frameworks.
• Experience managing outsourced engineering teams or third-party data providers.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and update enterprise data models underpinning the data ecosystem.
• Define integration patterns, data flows, and architectural principles for scalability and security.
• Shape data environment including data lake, master data structures, and analytical layers.
• Own the data governance framework, policies, and metadata requirements.
• Oversee MDM across the Data Platform and external partner provider.
• Ensure GDPR compliance, legal and regulatory alignment, and responsible data use.
• Review designs, validate data models, and guide external delivery teams.
• Translate business requirements into governance and architecture decisions.
