Job summary

Vida Plena in Lisbon is seeking a friendly Barista to join our growing hospitality group. You will craft high-quality coffee and tea, greet guests, handle cash, and contribute to a warm, welcoming atmosphere that reflects Vida Plena’s signature hospitality.

The ideal candidate has 6 months to 2 years in a barista or customer-facing role, fluent in English with Portuguese a plus, and a collaborative, energetic demeanor. Training provided, with opportunities to grow within the group.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 2 years experience as a barista or in a similar customer-facing role.
• Proficient in coffee preparation, customer service, and basic cash handling.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a warm, engaging presence.
• Collaborative and dependable, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English, with Portuguese language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to company standards and recipes.
• Operate coffee equipment (espresso machines, grinders) safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station and surrounding area.
• Deliver excellent customer service and connect with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Accurately handle cash and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth service operations.
