KCS IT in Lisbon seeks a Senior Backup Expert to lead enterprise backup and recovery initiatives. The role blends on-site and remote work within a hybrid model, requiring strong IBM Storage Protect/TSM skills and extensive scripting, Linux/AIX administration, and multi-site support.

Travel is minimal; you will support clients across Benelux and national projects, contributing to ITIL-aligned processes and agile project teams while advancing your career in a dynamic services firm.

Qualificações

• Proven backup and recovery expertise across enterprise environments.
• Experience with IBM Storage Protect/TSM and related tools.
• Strong scripting skills (bash/ksh, Python, SQL) and Linux/AIX administration.

Responsabilidades

• Provide backup/recovery administration for complex multi-site environments.
• Triage and resolve L3 issues related to backup infrastructure.
• Collaborate with teams following ITIL processes and Agile methods.

We are looking for an Amazing: Backup Expert

Seniority: Senior-level (5+ years)

Type of position: Hybrid model in Lisbon. Candidates need to be already living in Portugal!

The amazing you, will have:

• IBM Storage Protect/TSM v8+, TSM DB2 administration & recovery, AIX, Linux, enterprise backup/recovery, tape libraries & tape management, Storage Protect VE, VMware backup, restore/recovery procedures, storage pools & retention policies, troubleshooting L3, S3 backup protocols, NDMP, Shell scripting (bash/ksh), SQL scripting, Python, RMAN, TDP, monitoring & automation, Perl, multi-site backup infrastructure, IBM Power Systems, Dell Storage, Hitachi Storage, ITIL processes, Agile.
• Fluent Portuguese (B2).
• Fluent English (C1).
