Riskified in Lisbon is hiring Backend Engineers across multiple levels to build AI-powered fraud detection systems for leading ecommerce brands. The role uses Java/Scala/Node.js, Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS, and Databricks in a hybrid Lisbon setting.

You will collaborate with Data Science teams, ensure real-time performance and security, and contribute to a growing Lisbon hub with exposure to backend, AI, and DevSecOps.

Qualificações

• Backend experience with Java/Scala/Node.js.
• Kafka, Kubernetes, and AWS proficiency.
• Experience with high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems.
• Fintech/payments or fraud detection experience a plus.
• Hybrid in Lisbon, Portugal (2 days/week onsite).

Responsabilidades

• Build and scale backend services powering AI fraud detection for global ecommerce brands.
• Work with Kafka event streaming, Kubernetes, and AWS infrastructure.
• Develop data pipelines and ML-ready data systems on Databricks.
• Collaborate with Data Science teams on productionizing fraud detection models.
• Ensure reliability, performance, and security of real-time risk systems.
