Riskified is seeking a Data Scientist in Lisbon to design, implement, and deploy ML algorithms that drive ecommerce risk analytics and fraud detection. You will handle data exploration, feature engineering, model development, and evaluation, collaborating with product managers, data engineers, and software developers to deliver production-ready solutions.

The role requires 3+ years in ML, strong Python/SQL skills, and a solid statistical foundation.

Qualificações

• B.Sc (M.Sc is a plus) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience designing and implementing machine learning algorithms and deploying them to production.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with various ML algorithms.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL and data manipulation tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
• Solid foundation in statistics including hypothesis testing, regression, time series and experimental design.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for business problems and solutions.
• Proficiency in data visualization libraries and communicating findings to stakeholders.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.
