Farfetch in Porto is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join the Identity team. You'll support and improve the Identity platform, focusing on Authentication, Authorization, and Account domains, with attention to GDPR/PII.

As part of the role you'll design new features, transform requirements into scalable solutions, and ensure quality through testing and reviews. Collaboration with engineers and other teams is essential.

Qualificações

• Proficient in object-oriented languages (C# .NET) with strong design patterns.
• Experience with OAuth/OpenID authentication and authorization flows.
• Passion for code quality and testing strategies to improve product quality.
• Autonomous, able to make technical decisions impacting the platform.
• Interested in distributed and large-scale systems.
• Keeps up with modern software development best practices.
• Experience with NoSQL and/or SQL databases.
• Experience with Agile (SCRUM/Kanban) is a plus.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Evolve Authentication/Authorization microservices and improve usage across Farfetch ecosystem.
• Contribute to feature design and implementation across services and platforms.
• Maintain existing components and ensure quality, reliability and security.
• Ensure rigorous testing and code review before deployments.
• Collaborate with Senior/Principal engineers and cross-functional teams to define roadmaps.
• Provide guidance to development teams on best practices and tool usage.
• Monitor, support and evolve services, tools, and libraries.
