Job summary

iTRTech Group is seeking a Backend Developer with solid Java and Spring Boot experience to build and maintain backend applications and contribute to AI-driven development initiatives. You will collaborate with the Product Owner, support junior developers, and coordinate with the production support team in a Scrum/Agile context.

The role requires 5+ years of software development, Java 17+, Spring Boot, Hibernate, APIs, Git, Kafka, Docker/Kubernetes, and cloud/database knowledge.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java 17+ and Spring Boot with Hibernate.
• Experience with APIs, Git, and messaging systems such as Kafka.
• Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Adopt AI tools to support development processes.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.
• Mentor junior developers by assigning tasks and reviewing deliverables.
• Collaborate with the production support team for knowledge transfer.
• Participate in Scrum/Agile team activities with Product Owner.

We are looking for a Backend Developer with solid experience in Java and Spring Boot to develop and maintain applications, contributing to the quality of solutions and the adoption of AI tools in development. You will work closely with the Product Owner, support junior developers, and collaborate with the production support team.

• Develop and maintain backend applications, identifying good practices and solutions suited to the project's needs.
• Adopt artificial intelligence tools to support development.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.
• Support junior developers by specifying tasks, delegating activities, and monitoring the quality of deliverables.
• Collaborate with the production support team, ensuring knowledge transfer.
• Work in coordination with the Product Owner and participate in team activities in a Scrum/Agile context.

Требования:

• At least 5 years of experience in software development.
• Technical knowledge of Java 17 or higher, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Knowledge of APIs, Git, and messaging systems such as Kafka.
• Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes, cloud systems, and databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies.
• Fluent Portuguese, clear communication, analytical skills, autonomy, and proactivity.
• Availability for the hybrid work model in Lisbon and to start within 30 days.

• Knowledge of Azure/AWS, experience in the banking sector, and knowledge of Document Management, OCR, and GenAI will be valued

Условия:

• Hybrid work — 2 days on-site and 3 days remote per week.
• B2B contract.
• Rate between €2400 and €2700 gross.
