Closer Consulting is seeking a Java Software Developer to join an innovative team working on high-impact projects in a collaborative environment. The role is based in Lisbon, Portugal, with remote-friendly options and a focus on mission-critical financial applications.

You will design, build, and maintain Java code, ensuring reliability and performance, while collaborating with international teams to deliver continuous improvements and new features within traditional on-premise infrastructure.

Qualificações

• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency with Java 8 and the Spring Framework.
• Hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere.
• Experience with traditional on-premise environments.

Responsabilidades

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reliable, and reusable Java code for critical financial applications.
• Maintain and optimize enterprise backend applications deployed on traditional, high-availability infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional international teams to implement new features and continuous improvements.

Technical Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software development.
• Core Backend: Strong expertise in Java 8 and the Spring Framework.
• Application Server: Proven hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere.
• Infrastructure: Solid understanding and experience working in traditional on-premise environments.
