Role Overview

We are looking for an Azure Tech Lead to join our teams in a strategic enterprise environment focused on the design, delivery, and evolution of cloud-native integration platforms.

This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, driving the architecture and implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient integration solutions on Microsoft Azure.

What you will do

• Lead the technical direction, architecture, and governance of Azure-based integration platforms, APIs, event-driven systems, and enterprise integrations;
• Manage and mentor integration engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, continuous improvement, and technical excellence;
• Design and deliver solutions using Azure Integration Services, including API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Cosmos DB;
• Drive platform engineering initiatives through Infrastructure as Code, automation frameworks, reusable templates, self-service capabilities, and Terraform adoption;
• Champion DevOps, DevSecOps, observability, AI-assisted engineering, cloud security, and FinOps best practices to improve reliability, operational efficiency, and cost optimisation.

What you are like

• Experienced in designing and delivering enterprise integration solutions and cloud-native architectures on Microsoft Azure;
• Proficient with Azure Integration Services, including Azure API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hubs, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Key Vault, Entra ID, and Azure monitoring services;
• Strong knowledge of API-led architectures, distributed systems, microservices, event-driven integration patterns, and enterprise messaging solutions;
• Experienced in team leadership, coaching, stakeholder management, technical governance, and engineering best practices;
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD, GitOps, automated testing, DevSecOps, and release management.
