ISS Tech Team in Porto, Portugal or Warsaw, Poland, offers a Cloud Hosting Engineer (Database) role in a hybrid setup. You will collaborate with Database Operations Engineers to migrate databases to Azure, leading IaaS to PaaS transitions and enhancing IaC for provisioning, management and CI/CD pipelines.

You will optimize storage using Blob Storage and Azure Files, automate database operations with PowerShell and other tools, and assume Product Owner responsibilities for databases and storage

Qualificações

• Experience migrating databases to Azure and modernizing workloads.
• Hands-on with IaaS to PaaS transitions and IaC practices.
• Proficient in automating cloud operations with PowerShell.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and execute migration of databases from on-premises to Azure.
• Lead transition from IaaS to PaaS Azure services for reliability and cost efficiency.
• Design storage optimization using Blob Storage and Azure Files.
• Automate database operations and strengthen IaC for CI/CD pipelines.
• Act as Product Owner for databases and Storage initiatives.
• Work with DB platforms (IaaS/PaaS), storage, and archiving strategies.
• Modernize on-prem workloads for performance and cost efficiency in Azure.
• Automate cloud ops with PowerShell and other tools.
• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• IaC provisioning of cloud and DB resources using Terraform or similar.
