ISS A/S Porto is seeking a Cloud Hosting Engineer (Database) to drive migration of on-prem databases to Azure, shift from IaaS to PaaS, and enhance IaC for provisioning and CI/CD deployments. You will optimize storage (Blob, Azure Files) and strengthen cloud operations automation.

In this hybrid role, collaborate with Database Ops Engineers, act as Product Owner for databases and storage, and push for scalable, cost-efficient cloud solutions while delivering reliable, automated processes.

Qualificações

• Experience migrating databases to Azure or cloud platforms.
• Strong IaC skills with Terraform or similar tools.
• Hands-on automation with PowerShell and scripting.
• Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines for databases.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with Database Operations Engineers to migrate and modernize databases to Azure.
• Lead the IaaS to PaaS transition for database platforms to improve reliability and cost efficiency.
• Design storage optimization strategies (Blob Storage, Azure Files) and archiving solutions.
• Automate database operations and strengthen IaC practices to support deployments and CI/CD.
• Act as Product Owner for databases and Storage, guiding decisions and queries.
