Ampleshift is seeking a data engineer to join the client's data team in Lisbon to build and maintain a data platform on Microsoft Azure. You will design and operate ETL/ELT pipelines, integrate data from multiple sources, and ensure governance and quality across the ecosystem.

The role requires hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics, plus the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and work autonomously in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Qualificações

• Experience in data engineering within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ETL/ELT pipeline design and maintenance).
• Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Experience integrating data from multiple sources, APIs, relational databases, files, and other systems.
• Strong attention to data quality, consistency, and governance.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Good communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Availability for on-site work, 5 days a week, in Lisbon.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain the client's data platform on Microsoft Azure.
• Design, implement and operate ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration flows.
• Collaborate with data team and stakeholders to ensure data quality and governance.
• Contribute to architecture and data modeling decisions.
• Provide clear documentation and knowledge sharing across teams.
