KCS IT is seeking a Data Engineer for Portugal (Lisbon area) with a hybrid work setup. You will design and implement data integration solutions using SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, and Spark-based services to support analytics across clients.

The role requires 4+ years in data engineering, a Computer Engineering degree or equivalent, fluency in Portuguese, and good English, plus hands-on Azure Databricks and data warehousing experience.

Qualificações

• Bachelor / Master in Computer Engineering or similar.
• 4+ years of experience.
• Strong experience with SQL Server / T-SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with Azure Databricks.
• Good knowledge of Apache Spark / Spark SQL.
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data integration.
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and architectures.
• Experience with data quality, validation, troubleshooting, and error handling.
• Fluent in Portuguese and intermediate level in English.
• The candidate has to be in Portugal and open to a hybrid position.
