Magic Beans, a specialised consulting firm, is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to join our Lisbon team. You will contribute to cloud transformation, deployment of Azure VMs, networks, storage, and security controls, while collaborating with senior engineers.

The role emphasizes learning, practical scripting (PowerShell/Python/Bash), IaC with Terraform, and knowledge of Entra ID. Fluent English and Portuguese are expected; Azure Fundamentals certification is required.

Qualificações

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals is required.
• Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) desirable.
• 1–2 years of experience in cloud administration or IT support.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering or related field is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Support configuration, deployment and management of Azure VMs, VNets, Storage, NSGs, RDS, EKS.
• Assist in implementing secure, scalable and reliable cloud solutions.
• Monitor environments using Azure Monitor and troubleshoot issues.
• Contribute to IaC tasks with Terraform and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Maintain deployment guides and cloud best practices.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to improve cloud operations.
• Assist with Microsoft Entra ID user access management (desirable).

Minimum Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Support the configuration, deployment and management of Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks (VNet), Storage Accounts and Network Security Groups (NSG), RDS, EKS, etc.
• Assist in implementing cloud solutions following best practices for security, scalability and reliability.
• Monitor cloud environments using Azure Monitor and provide troubleshooting support.
• Participate in Infrastructure-as-Code tasks with Terraform and scripting using PowerShell (basic).
• Help maintain technical documentation, deployment guides and cloud best practices.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve issues and improve cloud operations.
• Support Microsoft365 administration and user access management in Microsoft Entra ID (desirable).

Critical Skills & Experience

• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including compute, networking, storage and identity services.
• Familiarity with Azure CLI, Azure Portal, and version control tools such as Git.
• Basic experience or understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform.
• Basic scripting skills in PowerShell, Python or Bash.
• Understanding of Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Strong willingness to learn, problem-solving mindset, and proactive attitude.

• 1–2 years of experience in cloud administration, IT support, or related fields.
