We Are META is seeking an AWS DevSecOps Senior Engineer to join our Braga team. You’ll design secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK and CloudFormation, and automate multi-step processes with Step Functions.

Proficient Python and TypeScript development, plus Shell scripting, are required. Fluency in English and native Portuguese, with a hybrid work preference in Braga, completes the profile.

Qualificações

• 5 years of experience as an AWS DevSecOps Engineer.
• In-depth IaC using AWS CDK and CloudFormation.
• Design and implement workflows with AWS Step Functions.
• Programming in Python and TypeScript for automation.
• Shell/Bash scripting for pipelines and config.
• Experience embedding security in CI/CD and FinOps awareness.
• Fluent English and native Portuguese; willingness to hybrid work in Braga.
• Resident in Portugal with EU citizenship or valid work permit.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and secure AWS infrastructure via CDK and CloudFormation.
• Orchestrate cloud processes with Step Functions workflows.
• Build automation scripts and CDK constructs in AWS environments.
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and reviews.
• Monitor cloud spend and optimize with FinOps practices.

For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:

• 5 years of experience as an AWS DevSecOps Engineer
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK and CloudFormation to provision and manage cloud resources in a repeatable, auditable manner.
• Ability to design and implement workflow automation using AWS Step Functions for orchestrating multi-step cloud processes.
• Strong programming skills in Python and TypeScript to develop automation scripts, Lambda functions, and CDK constructs within AWS environments.
• Solid command of Shell and Bash scripting for pipeline automation, environment configuration, and operational tasks across AWS infrastructure.
• Applied knowledge of DevSecOps principles, including embedding security controls and compliance checks within AWS CI/CD workflows.
• Practical understanding of FinOps practices to monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud spending within AWS environments.
• Fluency in English (C1) and Portuguese (native)
• Availability for Hybrid model, 2 times a week based in Braga
• Based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit
