Job summary

Expleo Group in Portugal is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to support, maintain and optimize enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure across production environments.

You will troubleshoot issues in CI/CD pipelines, develop automation with Terraform, Python and GitHub Actions, and strengthen governance using IAM, AWS Organizations and SCPs. The role emphasizes reliability, security and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS in production environments.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of IAM, AWS Organizations and governance.
• Experience with Terraform, Python and GitHub Actions.
• Ability to troubleshoot production cloud infrastructure and deployments.
• Familiarity with cloud security and vulnerability remediation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proactive and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain and improve enterprise-scale AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
• Develop and maintain automation with Terraform, Python and GitHub Actions.
• Implement and manage AWS services including Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
• Strengthen cloud governance via IAM, AWS Organizations and SCPs.
• Monitor environments, investigate incidents and drive resolution.
• Support vulnerability management and remediation activities.
• Handle production incidents, service requests and SLA-driven tasks.
• Identify opportunities to improve platform reliability and automation.
• Maintain technical documentation and liaise with stakeholders.
