Job summary

OSQuay – an iLink Digital Company in Lisbon is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Platform Engineer to join an enterprise-scale cloud platform team, supporting and continuously improving AWS infrastructure, automation, security and production services within the aviation industry.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on international projects, implement Terraform, Python and GitHub Actions, and help govern cloud environments with IAM, SCPs and best security practices.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on AWS production experience.
• Practical Terraform, Python and GitHub Actions skills.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
• Strong knowledge of IAM, AWS Organizations, SCPs and governance.
• Experience troubleshooting production infra, CI/CD pipelines and incidents.
• Security focus: cloud security, vulnerability management and remediation.
• Experience handling production incidents, SLA-driven requests.
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication and documentation skills.
• Proactive customer-oriented mindset and ability to work independently.
• Bonus: AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector, Snyk, Kubernetes a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and continuously improve AWS infrastructure, automation, security and production services.
• Ensure cloud governance and security best practices across environments.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and CI/CD deployment issues.
