Bosch Service Solutions in Lisbon is seeking a DevOps Software Engineer for Embedded Systems. You will join an international agile team focused on automotive embedded software delivery and CI/CD workflow automation.

In this role, you will design and maintain scalable pipelines, ensure security and reliability, and drive continuous improvement across development and deployment processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams worldwide and contribute to high-quality software delivery.

Qualificações

  • Strong experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Python.
  • Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Experience in build, test, deployment, and release automation.
  • Familiarity with version control, branching strategies, and code quality practices.

Responsabilidades

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines for build, integration, testing, and deployment.
  • Ensure reliability, efficiency, and security of CI/CD pipelines for development and operations.
  • Analyze workflows to identify automation and optimization opportunities.

  • Promote best practices for CI, CD, and DevOps to improve productivity and software quality.
  • Support troubleshooting of pipeline and deployment issues to keep environments stable.

Job Description

Your contribution to something big: You will be part of an international agile development team focused on the development of automotive embedded software. As a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth integration of CI/CD practices into the software development lifecycle. You will contribute to improving development workflows through automation and process optimization, while providing support and guidance to team members on CI/CD tools and practices. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, integration, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Ensure the reliability, efficiency, and security of CI/CD pipelines, supporting both development and operational requirements.
  • Analyze existing development workflows and engineering processes, identifying opportunities for automation, optimization, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with development, operations, Product Owners, and colleagues worldwide to align tooling and processes with product and organizational goals.
  • Implement and promote best practices for Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and DevOps, contributing to increased productivity and software quality.
  • Support the troubleshooting and resolution of pipeline, tooling, and deployment-related issues, ensuring stable and efficient development environments.
  • Provide support and guidance to team members on CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Share responsibility for the quality and efficiency of software delivery by supporting team members, participating in peer reviews, and contributing expertise in automation and process improvement.
Qualifications
  • Strong experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with automation and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Python.
  • Solid understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and DevOps principles.
  • Experience in build, test, deployment, and release automation.
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving build, deployment, and integration issues.
  • Familiarity with version control, branching strategies, and code quality practices.
  • Proactive, pragmatic, and open-minded approach.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Self-organized with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Comfortable working within an agile, cross-functional, and international team environment.
