Job summary

Forvia is seeking a Customer Relationship Engineer in Portugal to strengthen customer satisfaction through close collaboration with production and quality teams. You will lead technical meetings, manage changes and audits with customers, and ensure timely problem resolution while travel up to 25% of the time.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a Master’s preferred, has 5+ years of cross-functional experience in development and production, and is fluent in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience combining development and production.
• Customer management experience.
• Experience and success managing a functional network.
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer satisfaction by relying on a controlled production process.
• Organizing and participating in all technical meetings with the customer.
• Solving technical problems, managing changes, and ensuring progress.
• Auditing storage sites and the customer assembly line for compliant use of products.
• Defining and enforcing the scale of demerit products coherent with customer specs.
• Managing and guaranteeing resolution of customer concerns and working with Production Quality.
• Validating and accepting the packaging range.
