The role requires a technical degree, 5 years’ experience, and fluency in Portuguese and English; Italian or French is a plus.

Qualificações

Assistant Maintenance Manager – International Area (m/f)

Location: Lisbon

Pestana Hotel Group is recruiting an Assistant Maintenance Manager – International Area, based in Lisbon, to work closely with the Regional Maintenance Manager in supporting, monitoring, and enhancing hotel maintenance operations across its international units.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support the Regional Maintenance Manager in the technical and operational follow-up of the Group’s international units.
• Oversee maintenance works and technical interventions, ensuring compliance with the standards and procedures defined by the Group.
• Monitor and coordinate suppliers and external service providers.
• Assist in identifying technical and operational needs across different hotel units.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes, as well as to the efficiency and reliability of infrastructures and equipment.
• Travel internationally whenever required to provide on-site technical and operational support.

Candidate Profile:

• Technical Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering. Diploma holders with strong experience can also be considered.
• Previous experience in hotel maintenance will be considered an asset.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Availability to be based in Lisbon, with frequent travel across Europe and occasional travel to North and South America.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Italian or French will be considered an advantage.
• Strong organisational skills, autonomy, sense of responsibility, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
