EDU Passport LLC is seeking a candidate to support the HatchWeLL project at the S2AQUAcoLAB facilities in Olhão, Portugal. The role targets individuals with secondary education and background in aquaculture, molecular biology, and sample processing for DNA/RNA analysis.

Responsibilities include sample collection, PCR-based analyses, primer design, and data processing, with potential weekend/holiday work. The contract is indefinite but aims for ~12 months; supervision by Dr Iris Silva in a

Qualificações

• Level 4 non-tertiary education (secondary education) required.
• Experience in collecting biological samples from marine species, especially sea bream.
• Experience in PCR and real-time PCR.
• Experience in processing fish samples for DNA and RNA extraction.
• Experience in primer design and gene expression analysis.
• Willingness to work holidays and weekends.
• Advanced level of English.

Responsabilidades
