S2AQUA – Collaborative Laboratory, Association for a Sustainable and Smart Aquaculture invites applications for an undergraduate Researcher position as part of the HatchWeLL project. The role supports sample collection, molecular analyses, and data interpretation under supervision.

Minimum Level 4 non-tertiary education is required, with experience in aquaculture and PCR techniques. English proficiency, independence and teamwork are essential; the contract is approximately 12 months with 40

Qualificações

• Level 4 non-tertiary education (secondary education) required.
• Experience in aquaculture and collecting biological samples from marine species (sea bream preferred).
• Experience with molecular biology techniques (PCR, real-time PCR).
• Experience processing samples for DNA/RNA extraction and analyzing gene expression data.
• Advanced English; autonomy and proactivity.

Responsabilidades

• Support in in vivo fish experiments and data collection.
• Assist with laboratory sampling and processing of samples for DNA/RNA extraction.
• Analyze molecular biomarker expression and collaborate on data interpretation.
• Contribute to report and article preparation.
