Capgemini Lisboa is seeking an experienced API Integration Specialist to design and implement API management solutions across Kong, Apigee and WSO2. You will build scalable integration architectures using SOA, microservices and event-driven patterns, and manage messaging systems like Solace, Kafka, RabbitMQ and Pub/Sub.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in API development and enterprise integration.
• Knowledge of API gateways (Kong, Apigee, WSO2) and SOA.
• Hands-on with event-driven and messaging platforms (Solace, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub).
• Cloud integration with Azure and Google Cloud; REST/SOAP/microservices.

YOUR ROLE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;

YOUR PROFILE

• Design and implement API management solutions using platforms such as Kong, Apigee, WSO2, aligned with modernization and AI integration strategies;
• Build integration architectures leveraging SOA principles, microservices, and event‑driven patterns;
• Configure and manage messaging and event streaming systems (Solace, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub);
• Implement cloud‑native integration services on Azure (API Management, Event Grid, Service Bus) and Google Cloud (Apigee, Pub/Sub, Eventarc):
• Ensure API security, governance, and lifecycle management across hybrid and multi‑cloud environments;
• Collaborate with AI and application teams to integrate machine learning models and intelligent services into APIs and workflows;
• Drive automation and CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments;
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and monitor integration performance to ensure high availability and scalability;
• Document integration processes and maintain best practices for modernization and AI‑enabled architectures.
