Multivision Consulting is seeking an Apache Kafka Platform Administrator to own the platform end-to-end, including cluster design, replication, and durability decisions. You will work on modern Kafka with KRaft, Kafka Connect, and Schema Registry to enable real-time data flows.

The role requires fluent Portuguese and English, sharp troubleshooting and strong technical communication, and an ability to design and implement security measures such as mTLS and ACLs while tuning JVM performance and

Qualificações

• Experience in end-to-end Kafka platform management.
• Knowledge of KRaft architecture.
• Experience with Kafka Connect and Schema Registry (Avro/JSON).
• Security design involving mTLS and ACLs.
• Performance tuning of JVM, retention policies, storage and PVs.
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Own the Kafka platform end to end, including cluster, replication, and durability decisions.
• Work with KRaft architecture and future of Kafka.
• Manage Kafka Connect and Schema Registry with Avro/JSON for data integration and governance.
• Design and implement security posture (mTLS, ACLs).
• Tune JVM performance and storage policies for reliability and speed.
• Provide high-visibility support when event backbone matters to the business.

We're Hiring for an exciting new opportunity: Apache Kafka Platform Administrator

What will you do?

• You own the platform end to end. Cluster architecture, brokers, replication, min.insync.replicas — the durability and availability decisions are yours to make.
• Modern Kafka, not legacy. We run KRaft (ZooKeeper-free) — the architecture the ecosystem is moving to. You'll work on where Kafka is going, not where it's been.
• The full streaming stack. Kafka Connect and Schema Registry with Avro/JSON — real data-integration and schema-governance work, not just topic management.
• Security is yours. You'll design and own the platform's security posture — mTLS, ACLs, hardening.
• Deep performance engineering. JVM tuning, retention and cleanup policies, storage and Persistent Volumes — the specialist work that actually separates Kafka engineers from everyone else.
• High visibility. When the event backbone matters to the business, you're the person they trust.
