The AP Manager oversees and manages the Accounts Payable function including vendor relations, invoice processing, reconciliations and disbursements with the objective of optimizing the cash cycle for Dorel.
Responsible for all areas of the Accounts Payable process ensures:
· Vendor invoices are correctly and timely approved and processed;
· Vendor Masterfile maintenance and control;
· Tracking and analysis of expenditure;
· Communication with vendors to set-up accounts, answer to questions and manage discrepancies;
· Processing of invoices payments;
· Account reconciliations.
· Initiate and/or participate in improvement projects for the organization.
· Prepares KPIs to be shared internally and externally;
· Supervises the monthly closing of the Accounts Payable department.
As Accounts Payable Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of our financial operations. Your main responsibilities include:
Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations, while maintaining compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, handling account setup, inquiries, and resolving discrepancies to maintain strong and transparent partnerships.
Supervise the creation and control of vendor master files, ensuring data integrity and security.
Track, review, and report on spending patterns to support cost optimization and informed decision-making.
Initiate and lead projects aimed at streamlining AP processes, enhancing efficiency, and leveraging technology for automation.
Prepare and present KPIs for internal and external stakeholders, and oversee the monthly closing activities for the AP department.
Provide insights and recommendations to management, considering long-term impacts and stakeholder interests.
