Job summary

Syffer It, Sa is seeking a seasoned frontend developer to join our team in Lisbon. You will build and maintain Angular-based frontend applications, leverage Docker for containerization, and contribute to deployments with Kubernetes.

Cloud proficiency in AWS is required, along with DevOps practices and strong Portuguese/English communication. We value collaboration across teams and offer a hybrid work regime, health insurance, and modern tech stacks to enable scalable and reliable product

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of professional frontend software development experience.
• Proficient with Angular frontend development.
• Hands-on Docker and Kubernetes experience.

What you'll do:

• Develop and maintain frontend applications using Angular;
• Work with containerization technologies such as Docker;
• Contribute to deployments and application lifecycle using Kubernetes;
• Apply DevOps practices in development, deployment, and monitoring workflows;
• Work with cloud environments, primarily AWS, to support scalable and reliable application delivery;
• Collaborate effectively with teams, ensuring clear oral and written communication in both Portuguese and English;

Who you are:

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience (or 4 years depending on seniority level);
• Strong experiencein frontend development with Angular ;
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes ;
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and practises;
• Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS ;
• Strong communication skills in Portuguese and English (spoken and written);

Nice To Have:

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field;
• Experience with

• Experience building microservices
• using Java and Quarkus;
• Java certifications;
• Cloud-related certifications;
