Key Responsibilities
The Analyst – Global Pricing & Profitability is responsible for supporting client-level profitability governance across Global Clients and selected Key National Accounts (KNA). The role combines pricing analysis, profitability review, Client Contribution Margin (CCM) governance, and multi-country coordination to support strategic sales opportunities, ongoing profitability governance, and the IWSF approval process.
This role owns the end-to-end coordination, consolidation, and financial review of Client Contribution Margin (CCM) inputs across countries for Global Clients & selected KNA, ensuring multi-country bids are evaluated with a clear, consistent view of profitability and risk.
The position combines strong financial acumen with structured coordination and project management, serving as a critical enabler of timely, high-quality decision-making on complex, high-value deals.
1. End-to-End Global Deal Ownership
- Act as the single point of Global FP&A ownership for client-level pricing, profitability, and CCM analysis across Global Clients and in-scope KNA opportunities.
- When IWSF is triggered, manage the CCM process from initial trigger through final submission
- Ensure all required inputs and deliverables are completed on time to meet 48 hour SLAs
2. Global Client Multi-Country Coordination
- Coordinate CCM inputs across multiple countries (often 5–10+)
- Partner with Sales to obtain commercial assumptions required for CCM development.
- Provide guidance to Country Finance teams on profitability targets, margin expectations, and CCM framework requirements.
- Work with seller to establish timelines, track progress, monitor local approvals, and enforce approval SLAs.
- Proactively follow up to ensure delivery and resolve bottlenecks
3. Financial Consolidation & Validation
- Consolidate country-level CCM outputs into a global & regional revenue & margin view
- Ensure consistency and accuracy across:
- Revenue and cost assumptions
- Allocation methodologies
- Margin calculations (CCM, GP%, cost of carry, etc.)
- Identify and resolve data gaps or inconsistencies
- Review CCMs for:
- Completeness
- Competitiveness
- Profitability
- Inclusion of applicable global rebates
- Required approval level determination
4. Pricing, Profitability & Insight
- Analyze global deal economics and provide a clear financial point of view
- Lead Global client pricing reviews, identifying:
- Margin risks and drivers
- Cross-country inconsistencies
- Structural issues in deal design
- Support informed decision-making through concise, actionable insights
- Develop country-level profit targets and profitability scenarios based on commercial assumptions provided by Sales, with Country Finance validating final pricing assumptions.
5. Margin Improvement Support
- Partner with business and finance stakeholders to improve deal quality
- Support development of margin recovery / improvement plans
- Monitor approved margin recovery plans through periodic CCM reviews.
- Partner with Sales to evaluate profitability improvement opportunities.
- Develop pro-forma CCM analyses to support pricing and margin optimization decisions.
6. Approval Coordination & Governance
- Prepare clean, structured, decision-ready outputs for approvers
- Ensure submissions clearly present:
- Financials
- Risks
- Key assumptions
- Route consolidated CCM analyses to Regional and Global approvers as required.
- Provide visibility to approval status and escalation risks.
- Communicate approval decisions and required modifications to Sales and Country Finance.
- Review changes and ensure approver expectations have been addressed prior to IWSF submission.
- Manage iteration loops and incorporate feedback efficiently
7. Process Execution & Visibility
- Maintain visibility across all active global deals
- Track:
- Deal status
- Timing vs SLA
- Key risks and dependencies
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the process
8. Extended Value-Add Activities
Over time, expand scope to include broader global finance insights such as:
- Global rebate modeling and calculations
- Ongoing profitability monitoring and CCM reporting for Global Clients, focused on priority accounts, margin improvement initiatives, and recently won business.
- Deal tracking and analysis, including win/loss monitoring and monetization rate
Qualifications
Experience
- 2–6 years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or similar roles
- Experience working with complex financial models and margin analysis
- Exposure to multi-entity, multi-country environments preferred
Technical Skills
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Deep understanding of margin drivers (revenue, cost structure, allocations)
- Advanced Excel capabilities required
