ALTEN Portugal seeks an AI/Python Expert for Porto to join the Integration (middleware) team within IS&T. You will design and develop AI solutions, integrate with Azure services, build interfaces and document architectures.

The role emphasizes end-to-end data flows and reliable, scalable integration. Candidate profile: Bachelor's in Computer Science, at least 3 years Python development, strong English, and hands-on AI experience.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years in Python development.
• Good level of English.
• Ideally AI experience: Hands-on experience with AI platforms (agentic systems, MLOps, AI operations).
• Azure Cloud: Willingness to learn and master Azure integration services (Logic Apps, Data Factory, API Management).
• Proficiency in Visual Studio (Python, API, .NET, Web development).

ABOUT PORTO & POSITION:

To support our European intensive growth, the Group has decided to build a Center based in Porto with the aim to provide administrative and financial support to the European subsidiaries. In this context, we are looking for a skilled. You will be a member of the Integration teams (aka “middleware”) from the ALTEN Group Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) department.

The Integration team is responsible for designing, building and supporting all ALTEN Group application-to-application digital data flows.Because end-to-end business processes span multiple applications, connecting applications together is essential to delivering a seamless digital experience for end users while ensuring reliability and performance for the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

AI/Python Development & Architecture:

• Design and develop AI solutions (AI MCP, agentic platforms, AI operations),
• Integrate AI solutions with Azure Cloud services (Logic Apps, Data Factory, API Management, etc.).

Integration Development:

• Build interfaces and connectors using Azure integration services,
• Write technical specifications and architecture documentation.

Continuous Improvement:

• Propose technical enhancements and best practices in development,
• Perform quality control on deliverables (code, documentation).

Support & Resolution:

• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), bug resolution, and enhancement implementation with appropriate cutover plans.
