Job summary

Tonic App is seeking an AI Product Owner to own the end-to-end backlog for two products: an AI clinical tool and a data platform. You will translate clinical, user and commercial needs into clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria, guiding Engineering and Data & AI through sprint cycles and releases.

You will navigate quality, compliance and market-specific considerations, balancing priorities and communicating trade-offs to stakeholders across clinical and commercial teams.

Qualifications

• 4–5+ years as a Product Owner, Product Manager or equivalent in a technical product environment.
• Strong command of Scrum, Agile methodologies and sprint-based development.
• Proven ability to write clear user stories, acceptance criteria and requirements.
• Enough technical fluency to converse with engineers and data scientists about implementation.
• Strong stakeholder management across commercial, clinical and technical teams.
• Full professional proficiency in Portuguese and English.

Responsibilities

• Own the product backlog end to end for two products: AI clinical tool and data platform.
• Translate user, clinical and commercial needs into requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Run sprint planning and execution with Engineering and Data & AI teams.
• Define how to measure AI quality, thresholds for shipping and detect regressions.
• Balance product priorities between two products and explain trade-offs clearly.
• Engage directly with physicians, pharmacists and commercial teams to surface opportunities.
• Ensure alignment with CE-marked medical device requirements and regulatory expectations.
• Support multi-market rollout considering language and regulatory differences.
• Document decisions, priorities and trade-offs for the company.
