Chain IQ seeks an AI Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate production AI systems in Lisbon. You will deploy models, create automated pipelines, and ensure robust observability and governance across the lifecycle.

Qualificações

• Experience operating production ML/AI platforms.
• Automation, deployment pipelines, and operational tooling experience.
• Exposure to cloud-native infrastructure and container platforms.
• Strong CI/CD, IaC, release automation and production operations knowledge.
• Observability across complex distributed applications is essential.
• Knowledge of model lifecycle management and production evaluation.
• Proven collaboration across Platform Engineering, ML, Product Engineering, and Data Engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain platform capabilities to deploy and operate production AI systems.
• Develop automated pipelines for model packaging, deployment, and lifecycle management.
• Build evaluation frameworks for model quality, latency, and cost.
• Implement monitoring using metrics, logging, tracing, and telemetry.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to productionize models and improve reliability.
• Optimize runtime environments, scaling, security, and operational resilience.
• Develop deployment strategies supporting experimentation and canary releases.
• Embed governance for reproducibility, auditability, and compliance.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks to boost productivity.
