Decskill is seeking a seasoned Senior Software Architect to design and guide the development of large-scale software platforms and distributed systems. You will define engineering standards, lead architectural decisions across multiple teams, and mentor senior engineers while collaborating with Product, Platform, Data, Security, and PM to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

The role offers hands-on leadership with no people management responsibilities, remote work, and opportunities to work

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing large-scale software platforms and distributed systems.
• Strong hands-on software engineering background with reusable platform services.
• Expertise in cloud-native architecture, microservices, APIs, and event‑driven systems.
• Experience guiding architectural decisions across multiple teams.
• Ability to design architecture patterns for agent orchestration, workflow execution, tool integration, memory and context management.
• Strong knowledge of observability, automated testing, deployment practices and operational reliability.
• Ability to balance long‑term architectural objectives with practical product delivery needs.
• Experience mentoring senior engineers through design reviews and technical coaching.
• Ability to collaborate across Product Engineering, Platform Engineering, Data, Security and Product Management.
• Interest in AI‑assisted engineering, automation and the Agentic Software Development Lifecycle (ASDLC).
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
• Comfortable in a hands‑on technical leadership role without people management responsibilities.
