Red Hat is seeking an AI Performance Engineer to join the Performance and Scale Engineering team focused on OpenShift AI platforms. You will shape performance and scalability across notebooks as a service, data science pipelines, model serving, feature store, edge AI, and distributed training stacks.

You will design and execute performance test plans, investigate cloud and on‑prem infrastructures, and tune OpenShift AI as part of a vibrant open source culture.

Qualificações

• Experience in running performance tests and data analysis.
• Experience with AI technologies and frameworks such as PyTorch/Transformers.
• Experience with system performance engineering and metrics collection tools (iostat, vmstat, sar, perf, Prometheus).
• Programming experience in Python and Linux (RHEL/Fedora/CentOS).

Responsabilidades

• Execute performance and scalability benchmarks against OpenShift AI platform components to drive improvements and detect regressions.
• Develop tools and automation to aid the performance benchmarking work.
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve performance issues.
• Triage, debug, and solve customer cases related to AI performance.
• Publish results, conclusions and best practices via reports and blogs.
• Present results at internal and external conferences.
