Job summary

Accenture is seeking an AI Engineer (Software) to design, build, and ship production‑grade software across the full stack, using AI‑assisted tooling as standard. You’ll work on real client programs across industries, integrating LLM APIs and connecting to agentic backends within Agile teams.

You’ll be part of a core engineering function with a clear development path toward agentic and forward‑deployed engineering, across cloud stacks and enterprise AI pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Commercial software engineering experience in production environments.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or TypeScript for backend development.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and calling LLM APIs in production.
• Web basics: JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Cloud fundamentals (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Agile delivery fundamentals.
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Ability to evaluate AI outputs and manage AI limitations responsibly.
• Familiarity with agentic system concepts (LangChain, LangGraph, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Use AI coding assistants daily to improve productivity and output quality.
• Integrate LLM APIs into production applications and manage latency.
• Apply AI across the full software delivery lifecycle with AI-generated tests and debugging.
• Ensure AI-generated outputs are production-ready when appropriate.
• Define and track KPIs for AI-assisted workflows and report to stakeholders.
• Own end-to-end delivery in Agile sprints with client teams.
• Contribute to reusable components and internal AI tooling standards.
• Build and connect full-stack layers to agentic backends and AI pipelines.
