Job summary

Aubay Portugal is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build and operate data and ML platform systems in production. You will work in a hybrid model across banking, insurance, telecoms and energy sectors, focusing on secure data handling and governance.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in AI/ML roles, strong Python, and hands-on experience with LLM tracing and observability tooling to support scalable, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as an AI Engineer or similar role.
• Proven experience building and operating data or ML platform systems in production, incl. ingest, schema, storage, access control, alerts, on-call.
• Hands-on experience with LLM tracing and observability tooling.
• Experience shipping PII redaction or data-handling controls in regulated/multi-tenant envs, with data governance approach.
• Production Python proficiency; hands-on engineer, not advisory.
