Job summary

Siemens AG is seeking an AI/ML engineer to design and deliver AI solutions that solve real business challenges across domains. You will build AI applications and workflows using LLMs, RAG, and cloud-native services, collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into production-ready solutions.

You will work with Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, and other platforms, maintaining pipelines and APIs while applying best practices in security and scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning or a related field.
• 1-3 years of software engineering, AI/ML or data science experience (internships and academic projects considered).
• Solid Python development skills.
• Knowledge of GenAI concepts such as LLMs, embeddings, RAG and agentic workflows.
• Experience with Azure AI services, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock or similar cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, Promptflow or similar frameworks.
• Experience developing APIs and integrating AI solutions into applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Building AI applications and workflows using modern machine learning and Generative AI technologies, including LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agent-based systems.
• Collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into practical AI-driven solutions.
• Developing, testing, and maintaining AI/ML pipelines and cloud-native AI services that can operate reliably in production environments.
• Contributing to the deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI applications, ensuring they deliver measurable business value.
• Leveraging cloud platforms and AI services to create scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Staying up to date with the rapidly evolving AI landscape and helping bring new technologies, ideas, and best practices into projects.
• Working closely with experienced AI engineers, software developers, and architects while continuously growing your technical and consulting skills.
