Job summary

Match Profiler is seeking a senior Data Scientist to join our client team. You will lead end-to-end data science and ML initiatives, from data understanding and feature engineering to model evaluation and deployment, leveraging Python and industry standard ML frameworks.

We value strong cloud experience (AWS), MLOps familiarity, and proficiency with Git, CI/CD, and test-driven development, along with excellent English skills and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of direct professional experience in Data Science / ML projects.
• End-to-end data science initiatives: data understanding, preparation, modelling, evaluation and deployment.
• Solid command of data science concepts around EDA, modelling and evaluation.
• Proficiency with Python and ML frameworks like scikit, pytorch, keras, opencv, pandas.
• Data preparation/transformation experience (SQL, pandas).
• Cloud infrastructure experience is mandatory; AWS preferred.
• Experience with LLM, RAG, prompt engineering and Generative AI (OpenAI, Bedrock).
• MLOps experience (MLflow, Databricks) valued.
• Software engineering practices/tools (Git, CI/CD, unit testing) valued.
• Very good English skills

What we are looking for

• At least 5 years of direct professional experience in Data Science / ML projects.
• Professional experience in end-to-end data science / machine learning initiatives, encompassing data understanding, preparation, modelling and evaluation, and deployment, is mandatory.
• Solid command of data science concepts and principles - especially around EDA, modelling and evaluation - is mandatory.
• Professional experience with Python and industry standard Python data science / ML frameworks (e.g. scikit, pytorch, keras, opencv, pandas, others) is mandatory.
• Professional experience in data preparation/transformation (e.g. SQL, pandas) is mandatory.
• Direct professional experience with cloud infrastructure is mandatory, AWS is highly preferred.
• Experience with LLM, RAG, prompt engineering and Generative AI (e.g. OpenAI, Bedrock) technologies is mandatory.
• Professional experience with MLOps solutions (e.g. MLflow, Databricks) is highly valued.
• Professional experience with software engineering best practices and tools (Git, CI/CD, unit testing) is highly valued.
