Komodo Consulting in Portugal is seeking an AI Engineer (GenAI) to work on a healthcare project. You will refine GenAI user stories, own scope, align with Enterprise Architecture, and assess impact on architecture, data, and security, while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The role is based in Lisbon, Braga, or Coimbra with a hybrid mode (2 days per week at the office). Strong Python, GenAI tooling, and English (C1+) are required, with experience in AWS serverless and Snowflake.

• Assess GenAI impact on EA including feasibility, risks, data, architecture and security implications.
• Serve as technical partner for GenAI decisions and cross-functional coordination.

Responsabilidades

The Project

We are seeking an AI Engineer (GenAI) to work on a healthcare project.

You will have the following responsibilities

• Refine GenAI user stories end-to-end, including acceptance criteria and dependencies, ensuring clarity and completeness before final validation;
• Own the GenAI scope and ensure alignment with the Enterprise Architecture (EA) team on scope, complexity, and estimates;
• Assess and validate the impact of GenAI on EA, covering feasibility, risks, and architecture, data, and security implications;
• Act as technical partner for the team on GenAI-related decisions and cross-functional coordination.

You need to have the following skills/experience

• Fluent and proficient usage of Agentic Development Tools as part of daily software development workflows (e.g. Claude Code), with strong command of Skills, MCP servers, Rules, and Commands;
• Thorough understanding of Agentic Systems design patterns and techniques;
• Proficiency in Python, vector stores, semantic search, prompt engineering, and LLM call parametrization;
• Hands-on experience with serverless architectures and AWS services, with the ability to own, maintain, and extend GenAI services integrated into production applications;
• Working knowledge of DBT and Snowflake;
• C1 level of English or above.

Location

Lisbon, Braga, or Coimbra (Hybrid - 2 days per week at the office).
