ENBW IT SOLUTIONS, UNIPESSOAL LDA is seeking a GenAI-focused engineer to identify automation opportunities with business units and shape high‑value agentic use cases. You will prototype solutions using platform building blocks and toolchains, then push them into production with a strong DevOps mindset.

Ideal candidates will prototype end-to-end deliverables, feed insights to the platform team, and present progress to senior leadership. English fluency is required; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with business units to identify automation opportunities and shape high‑value agentic and GenAI use cases.
• Rapidly prototype solutions using platform building blocks and agentic coding tools, then harden them into production‑grade applications.
• Deliver use cases end‑to‑end – from discovery and scoping through development, deployment, and ongoing further DevOps.
• Feed insights from use‑case delivery back into the platform team, driving development of reusable components.
• Present progress, results, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and cross‑functional steering groups.

Qualifications

• Experience at the intersection of technology and business – forward deployment, solutions engineering, technical consulting, or applied AI.
• Proven track record of shipping GenAI or agentic solutions into production and supporting them through their lifecycle.
• Strong developer, comfortable working across the stack when needed.
• Hands‑on experience with LLM application patterns – RAG, agents, tool use, multi‑step reasoning – with judgment to select the right approach.
• Extensive personal practice of using agentic coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) in real delivery work – with established workflows you can articulate and teach to others.
• Excellent communicator who translates between technical teams and business stakeholders, and presents confidently to senior leadership.
• Brings structure to ambiguous situations – scopes, prioritises, and delivers without waiting for perfect requirements.

Nice To Have

• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and infrastructure pipelines for self‑sufficient deployment.
• Experience running workshops, design sprints, or hackathons for use‑case discovery.
• Track record of establishing agentic tooling practices or AI‑augmented delivery workflows within a team.
• Background in the energy sector, utilities, or other regulated industries.
• Experience with change management or technology adoption in enterprise settings.

Language Requirements

• English: Fluent (required – daily working language)
• German: Nice to have (not required)

You will join our Agentic Factory team, which sits at the heart of EnBW’s generative AI and data delivery. We build and operate the central AI platform and GenAI use cases that drive real impact across the organization – from intelligent automation to AI‑powered decision support in the energy sector. Our team in Lisbon works as an integral part of cross‑functional squads in Germany, combining deep technical expertise with the agility to move fast in a rapidly evolving technology landscape.
