WizardingCode in Portugal is seeking engineers to build production-ready agents that run inside client systems (ERPs, helpdesks, inboxes, internal APIs) and deliver measurable results.

You’ll design and deploy agents using PHP/Laravel or Python, work with LLM APIs, and emphasize tests, logs and reliability. Clear written English is essential; Portuguese is a plus.

• 4+ years shipping production software, ideally in PHP/Laravel or Python.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, tool use and structured outputs.
• You care about tests, logs and the boring parts that keep things running.
• Clear written English. Portuguese is a plus, not a requirement.

Build the agents that run our clients’ operations, and put them into production in 30 days.

Our clients don’t want another AI pilot. They want agents that answer their customers, clean their supplier files and write their Monday report. You’ll build those agents end to end, inside their real systems, with the guardrails that make it safe to let them run.

What you bring

• Hands‑on experience with LLM APIs, tool use and structured outputs.
• You care about tests, logs and the boring parts that keep things running.
• Clear written English. Portuguese is a plus, not a requirement.

Nice to have

• Vector search (pgvector), queues and event streams (Redis, Kafka).
• Vue or another modern front‑end framework.
• You’ve run something you built with real users.
