Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable data and AI solutions in cloud environments. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to translate business needs into production-ready systems, focusing on data processing, ML models, and CI/CD/MLOps practices.

Experience in Data Science, ML Engineering or Data Engineering is valued, with emphasis on GCP, data quality, and strong Python programming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Professional experience in Data Science / Machine Learning Engineering / Data Engineering / Big Data Engineering.
• Solid experience with SQL and data modelling concepts.
• Experience building data pipelines and data processing workflows.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals and AI solution lifecycle.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data and AI solutions.
• Build and optimize data pipelines supporting analytics and ML use cases.
• Develop, train, deploy, and monitor ML models in production.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Implement cloud-native AI and data architectures, preferably on GCP.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and performance across data platforms.
• Automate data processing, model deployment, and monitoring via CI/CD and MLOps.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of AI and data engineering practices.
