Jobtailor in Porto, Portugal is seeking an experienced AI-enabled development enablement professional to lead and scale AI fluency across engineering teams.

You will pair with developers using Copilot and related tools, create practical coaching sessions and hands-on workshops, and build templates, guides, and learning materials to raise engineering productivity.

Qualificações

• Strong software engineering background with experience building or maintaining production systems and full SDLC.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Copilot CLI, Cursor, Cody, Claude Code, or similar.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including explaining complex concepts clearly and running hands-on workshops.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust and work with different personalities.
• Credibility with engineers, including comfort pairing with developers and discussing implementation trade-offs.
• Experience creating technical content such as guides, tutorials, documentation, or internal learning material.
• Genuine interest in developer experience, engineering productivity, and helping teams adopt better ways of working.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver AI Fluency sessions across Engineering and SDLC roles
• Work closely with Engineering teams to understand challenges and support practical adoption of AI and better workflows
• Pair directly with developers and teams using GitHub Copilot, Copilot CLI, internal AI agents, workflow automations, and related capabilities
• Maintain and improve internal enablement tooling, including AI agents, automations, templates, prompts, workflows, and supporting assets
• Create enablement content such as guides, templates, examples, recorded sessions, best practices, and role-specific learning material
• Assess and track AI maturity across teams using Planet's AI Fluency model
• Support priority initiatives with dedicated AI-first coaching in live projects
• Collaborate with Architecture and Platform teams to align enablement with engineering standards and platform capabilities
• Capture adoption signals, usage insights, and learning feedback for the AI Centre of Excellence and leadership reporting
• Expand enablement into broader developer experience and platform adoption across the engineering toolchain

Requirements

• Strong software engineering background, with experience building or maintaining production systems and a solid understanding of the full SDLC
• Hands‑on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Copilot CLI, Cursor, Cody, Claude Code, or similar
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including explaining complex concepts clearly and running hands‑on workshops
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust and work with different personalities
• Credibility with engineers, including comfort pairing with developers and discussing implementation trade‑offs
• Experience creating technical content such as guides, tutorials, documentation, or internal learning material

• Experience in developer experience, developer enablement, developer advocacy, or internal technical coaching (nice to have)
• Understanding of enterprise engineering environments, including APIs, system design patterns, CI/CD, observability, infrastructure, and engineering governance (nice to have)
• Strong understanding of prompt design, LLM capabilities, agentic workflows, and practical AI usage patterns in software engineering (nice to have)
• Experience defining or tracking adoption metrics, maturity models, developer productivity indicators, or ROI‑oriented enablement measures (nice to have)
• Experience with workflow automation and internal tooling, including platforms such as N8N or similar (nice to have)
• Familiarity with fintech, payments, or regulated engineering environments (nice to have)
