Aubay Portugal is hiring for a Software/Data/AI professional to develop Python-based data processing and AI solutions. You will design data pipelines, implement AI workflows, and integrate APIs across enterprise platforms.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Data, AI, DevOps, QA, and Security teams in a hybrid office setting. Strong experience with Python, data pipelines, APIs, and AI orchestration is required.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of professional experience in software/data/AI development, with strong Python experience.
• Experience building data pipelines, AI solutions, or data-intensive apps.
• Knowledge of APIs and API management, integrating services with enterprise platforms.
• Experience with RAG, AI agents, conversational AI, LLM-based apps or AI orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with Airflow for data orchestration.
• Experience with Snowflake, dbt, Elasticsearch, semantic views, ontology, YAML is valued.
• Familiarity with enterprise AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Gemini Enterprise.
• Knowledge of DevOps/CI/CD practices and tools is a plus.
• Understanding of cloud, MLOps/AIOps, monitoring, and security best practices.
• Fluent English is mandatory.

What will you do?

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust Python solutions for data processing, AI applications, and conversational AI use cases.
• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and AI workflows, using technologies such as Airflow and other orchestration frameworks.
• Build and integrate AI solutions, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, tool calling, and conversational AI platforms.
• Develop and integrate APIs and services to support AI applications and their integration with enterprise platforms.
• Contribute to the design, implementation, onboarding, and continuous improvement of AI use cases, from data preparation and integration to deployment, monitoring, and support.
• Work with data platforms and technologies such as Snowflake, dbt, Elasticsearch, semantic views, ontology, and YAML, depending on the use case.
• Integrate and leverage enterprise AI tools and technologies such as Microsoft Copilot, Gemini Enterprise, and other emerging AI platforms.
• Contribute to the implementation and management of AI orchestration frameworks and RAG-based solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, monitor applications, and contribute to improving the stability, performance, security, and scalability of AI solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Data, AI, DevOps, MLOps, AIOps, QA, Security, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Tech Leads to ensure successful delivery.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to backlog management, prioritisation, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Help define technical documentation, best practices, and reusable approaches to accelerate the onboarding and deployment of new AI use cases.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of AI platforms, including technical debt management, security, vulnerabilities, and dependency updates.
