Job summary

team.it is hiring an Agile Master to drive agile practices in our Porto team. You will facilitate ceremonies, coach cross-functional teams, and support backlog and delivery planning to ensure timely delivery and high-quality software.

The role emphasizes data-driven reporting, CI/CD awareness, and continuous improvement, with a focus on transparent communication and stakeholder alignment within a collaborative, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Agile Master/Scrum Master or similar coaching role.
• Ability to facilitate team collaboration and coordinate across functions.
• Experience supporting backlog management and delivery planning.
• Understanding of software development lifecycles and delivery workflows.
• Familiarity with Agile metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach teams on Agile principles, practices, and ways of working.
• Support Product Owners in backlog refinement, prioritization, and delivery planning.
• Identify, manage, and remove impediments that impact team performance and delivery.
• Monitor team progress and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Track and report delivery performance through metrics, data analysis, and reporting.
• Foster transparent, effective, and empathetic communication to maintain trust and team engagement.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of proven experience as an Agile Master, Scrum Master, or similar Agile coaching role.
• Strong ability to facilitate team collaboration and coordination.
• Experience supporting product backlog management and delivery planning activities.
• Understanding of software development and delivery lifecycles.
• Ability to guide teams through change management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of Agile principles and team dynamics within cross-functional environments.
• Experience with Agile management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Good understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and Test-Driven Development (TDD) concepts.
• Familiarity with software engineering processes, terminology, and delivery workflows.
• Experience using delivery metrics and Agile reporting, including velocity, burndown charts, and performance indicators.
• Knowledge of data analysis and reporting techniques to support team performance tracking.

Nice to Have

• Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certification.
• Additional Agile certifications.
• Experience with Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and LeSS.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
