Inetum is seeking a Mid-Level Windows System Administrator to join our infrastructure team in Setúbal. You will install, configure, and maintain Windows Server OS, monitor performance, and apply security patches to ensure reliability.

You will develop basic automation scripts using PowerShell or Ansible, assist end-users, and document processes while collaborating with IT teams to resolve incidents and improve systems.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of Windows system administration experience.
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, AD, DNS, and GPO.

Responsabilidades

Windows System Administrator (Mid-Level)

to join our infrastructure team and help manage the installation, performance, security, and stability of Windows-based systems.

Your Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, maintain, and update

Windows Server operating systems

and system tools.

Monitor system performance and ensure

availability and reliability

security patches, manage user access, and support vulnerability remediation (in coordination with the Security team).

Troubleshoot and resolve

hardware, software, and OS-level issues, escalating when needed.

Develop basic

automation scripts

using

PowerShell

or

Ansible

to reduce manual tasks.

Support end-users and collaborate with other IT teams to resolve incidents efficiently.

Maintain system documentation and contribute to process improvement efforts.

Profile

3-5 years of experience in

Windows system administration .

in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.

Solid knowledge of

Windows Server

and related technologies:

Active Directory

Group Policy (GPO)

DNS

Understanding of

basic networking concepts

(e.G. DHCP, load balancing).

Familiarity with

PowerShell scripting

and automation principles.

Proactive attitude towards

problem-solving

and performance improvement.

Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Fluent in

Nice to Have

Experience with

or other monitoring platforms.

Familiarity with

virtualization technologies

(e.G. VMware).

Basic knowledge of

ITIL practices
