Quadrante seeks an Associate Civil Engineer for the Industrial Structures department, based at our Lisbon office. You will develop concrete and steel structures for industrial projects, perform static, dynamic, and seismic analyses, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver optimized solutions.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Civil Engineering, 2–3 years of experience, and fluency in English.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in structural design projects.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Experience with SAP2000/Robot, AutoCAD, Revit, or Tekla is valued.

Responsabilidades

Quadrante is looking to strengthen its Industry Business Unit by recruiting an Associate Civil Engineer for the Industrial Structures department, based at our Lisbon office.

With both national and international projects of varying scales and typologies, Quadrante offers a unique professional experience in the Portuguese engineering market.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design concrete and steel structures for industrial projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with applicable standards
• Perform structural calculations, including static, dynamic, and seismic analyses, using specialized software (SAP2000, Robot)
• Define solutions for foundations and support structures, including geotechnical analyses and soil-structure interaction
• Ensure project compliance with national and international regulations, as well as industry-specific requirements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design optimized structural solutions for industrial facilities, energy, mining, and utilities
• Prepare technical reports, design briefs, and project specifications
• Stay up to date with technological advancements and contribute to improvements in structural design methodologies and project development processes

Profile

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Structural Engineering
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• 2 to 3 years of professional experience in the development of structural design projects
• Experience with SAP2000/Robot, AutoCAD, Revit, or Tekla (valued)
• Ability to adapt and work effectively in a team, combined with a strong sense of responsibility and autonomy
• Focus on technical excellence, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills
