Job summary

Nors Group in Porto is seeking an Accounts Receivable Technician to join our Oporto Shared Services. This role focuses on managing customer debts, reconciling accounts, and providing clarity on balances for internal teams.

You will monitor collections processes, analyze receipts, prepare periodic reports, and collaborate with finance colleagues. Fluency in English and SAP experience are valued as part of a dynamic, international group.

Qualifications

• University degree in Management, Economics, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or similar roles.
• English fluency, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Contact external customers to settle debts and reconcile current accounts.
• Analyze and allocate customer receipts.
• Provide clarifications on customers' current accounts.
• Prepare and deliver reports on supplier responsibilities to internal teams.
• Monitor automatic processes (direct debit, reminders, and cash invoice boxes).

What's the challenge?

• Ensure the contact with external customers to settle debts and reconcile current accounts;
• Analyse and allocate customer receipts;
• Provide clarifications related to customers' current accounts;
• Prepare and deliver reports on supplier responsibilities to internal customers and financial team;
• Monitor the automatic processes implemented (direct debit, reminders, and cash invoice boxes).

• Degree in Management, Economics, Accounting or related areas;
• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles;
• Experience with SAP is valued;
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken;
