Job summary

Beyond Gravity in Lisbon is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Center of Excellence. You will check, enter and post invoices, manage vendor data, and collaborate with purchasing and suppliers to ensure accurate payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
• 1+ years of experience in an AP-focused role within a multinational environment.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate and use SAP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• General understanding of basic accounting and finance procedures and concepts.
• Process-oriented thinking.
• Independent and conscientious way of working.
• Very good knowledge of English (reading, writing, speaking). Other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check, enter, assign, release and post invoices and credit notes using workflows.
• Create and check payment proposal and ensure payment run.
• Support and assistance with the accounts payable workflow.
• Enter and maintain vendor master data.
• Correspondence with suppliers.
• Clarification with internal and external departments.
• Close cooperation with the purchasing department.
• Support with value added tax reclaim.

The Accounts Payable Specialist position is located in our Center of Excellence in Lisbon.

Your Mission

Your Story
